Amazon has announced that it is extremely close to being able to launch a new drone delivery system that will be capable of delivering packages to its customers in just 30 minutes called Prime Air vehicles. It may sound like science fiction but the company’s research and development team have said that the technology is ready to go and they just need regulations to catch up.

They are waiting on a new set mandate to be published by the FAA(Federal Aviation Administration) regarding the rules for unmanned aerial vehicles but Amazon believe that we will see the regulations, rules and technologies in place as soon as 2015. The hope is that the public will quickly get used to the sight of seeing the aerial delivery systems and that they will be as common as seeing a postal van driving down the street.
