A report has been released revealing that nearly 10,000 working days have been lost in 2013 due to industrial action. Industrial disputes have been the route of most companies problems with the transport and storage sector accounting for almost 95% of the days lost.

The Dublin Bus strike was the main contributor of this figure as for the third quarter of the year; almost 7,000 days were lost as a result of industrial action. That is an astonishing figure when it is compared to 571 days during the same time frame last year.
