Irish companies to benefit from German export programme

Three Irish companies are set to take part in a new German export programme that is to be launched soon. Kinnegar Brewing, Donegal Rapeseed Oil and Dan Kelly’s Cider – have been accepted onto the EU-funded programme that is focused on assisting companies to enter the German food market. The new EU funded initiative will try and increase the export sales of 90 regional food and drink manufacturers from the border regions of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland by a total of by €22m by 2016.
