Qatar Airways announce new cargo routes

It has been announced that Qatar Airways Cargo will commence four new freighter service destinations. The new routes will include Madrid, Paris, Tbilisi and Beirut. The company have also said that they will be increasing their deliveries to Seoul and to Oslo.

Speaking about the recent announcement regarding the planned new routes, the company’s chief cargo chief officer Ulrich Ogiermann has said “We are excited to offer these significant new routes to our existing cargo customers and also hope this will introduce our world-class product to new customers. The addition of these new freighter destinations will mark yet another milestone in the airline’s growth strategy.”

Mr. Ogiermann believes that it will be an exciting time for the company as it begins transport operation to the new destinations saying “The next few months will prove to be yet another exciting period of growth with such diverse destinations being added to Qatar Airways’ cargo network.”

The new routes came into operation last Wednesday when the company began its new twice a week cargo service to Madrid. The new route is being serviced by Qatar Airways Airbus A330 Freighter and is transporting everything from chemicals to automobiles.

Another part of the new European route will see the A330 Freighter flying to Paris twice a week from the 21st of November. It is a big step for the Airline because France is second behind Germany as the largest importer and exporter of general commodities within the continent.
