The Irish Logistics and Transport Awards is Now Open for Entries
The Irish Logistics and Transport Awards is an event which aims to recognise the contributions of key individuals within the sector and celebrate their achievements. Building on the success of the past four years, and under the patronage of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, the 2016 Awards is now taking entries.
The logistics and transport sector is a lynch pin of Ireland’s economy. When it works well it is invisible, however, in the background there are hundreds of individuals who are leading and innovating in order to ensure that business operations run as smoothly as possible. The Logistics and Transport Awards aims to give these individuals their due accolade.
This year’s panel of industry experts have decided to add four new categories to the awards in order to highlight achievements in a widening variety of areas. These include a Client/Supplier Collaboration Award, a Customer Focus Achievement Award, an Emerging Company of the Year Award, and an International Achievement Award.
The Awards bring many benefits to organisations that wishes to get involved. Winning at the Irish Logistics & Transport Awards brings a new level of customer awareness and can be a great way to promote an individual’s work within their company and across the industry. It is also a great way for a company to showcase themselves as a top player in within the sector and attract top talent. Attendees of the awards will also get the chance to network with industry leaders and create new contacts. It is a particularly great chance for small companies as each entry is judged on its merits and not on the size of the organisation.

The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, 7th April 2016 at the DoubleTree by the Hilton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin 4.
