Third annual National Supply Chain Conference held in Dublin

The Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin was the venue for the third National Supply Chain Conference on Tuesday the 17th of June. The annual event was a chance for Ireland’s leading practitioners and solution providers to gather in order to exchange ideas, knowledge and experiences to ensure that this country stays ahead of other countries with whom we compete with on the world stage for future inward investment and indigenous growth opportunities.

Ireland continues to emerge as an expanding and exciting global hub for manufacturers, both indigenous and multinational, who export to the world.

This country has developed an eco-system of world-class service providers who collectively provide end to end solutions enabling products and services manufactured or created here to be shared with the rest of the globe.

This year the conference content expanded to include Logistics and Transport, Procurement and Outsourcing and was re-branded as the End2End Supply Chain Conference to reflect this broader remit.

Much like previous year’s the conference hosted a number of top speakers from Ireland and around the world who presented about this year’s topic which is the Future Direction of Supply Chain in Ireland and Abroad.  Some of the companies speaking at the event included….

Intel, Diageo, Accenture, Technical University of Denmark, Achilles , DSV , Zetes  and Amárach Research.
